Among the finest pre-college violin studios in the United States, the Pressley Violin Studio has evolved into a training center for young violinists who couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Located in Seattle, Washington, the Pressley Studio has been setting standards of excellence in violin pedagogy in the Pacific Northwest for the past twenty years.

Gleaning from the great masters of the 19th and 20th centuries, the Studio’s pedagogical philosophy integrates technical application, attention to form, a thorough repertoire progression, practice discipline, an understanding of styles and wishes of each composer represented, and the instilling of confidence and expression of self.

Pressley Studio graduates now attend collegiate music schools throughout the country and are professionally employed in orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout the world.
